The Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business & Government serves as an incubator of ideas to inform solutions to numerous challenges affecting business and the economy. In addition to studying topics such as energy policy and the future of the finance industry, the center encourages corporate social responsibility. To this end, the center’s Corporate Responsibility Initiative has partnered with Business Fights Poverty, UKAid, SABMiller, CARE, and Citi to create a guide for businesses to bolster micro-enterprises’ market environments.

With this guide, the Corporate Responsibility Initiative emphasizes the importance of shifting toward holistic collaboration between micro-enterprises and bigger companies that support them in order to strengthen the larger market system in which micro-enterprises operate.
